WASHINGTON D.C. – The Republican Governors Association released a new television advertisement today in the North Carolina governor’s race, detailing Roy Cooper’s failure to do his job and his gross mismanagement of the State Bureau of Investigations.

“Time and again, Roy Cooper failed to do his job,” said RGA Communications Director Jon Thompson. “Cooper’s mismanagement and incompetence at the SBI led to distorted evidence, wrongful convictions, criminals going unpunished, and the SBI being taken away from his authority. Because of Roy Cooper, North Carolina families are less safe.”
